GESTIPATTES – WEB PLATFORM TO REGISTER YOUR DOG

Did you know that a canine license is required for each dog present on the City’s territory? This license allows you to find your pet if it gets lost.

The City would like to remind dog owners that it is important to register their animal via the Gestipattes platform. Registration is MANDATORY when you own a dog.

This platform allows dog owners to register their animal with the City without having to travel.

Citizens who registered their dog in 2021 must renew online for 2022 via their Gestipattes account.

Citizens who already have a tag for their animal must keep it since it is valid for the entire life of the animal.

Citizens can register their dog via the following link: www.jeminscrismaintenant.com/shannon/.

If you have any questions or if you need help with your registration, do not hesitate to contact the Finance Department by phone at 418 844-3778 or by email at clients@shannon.ca.

NON-RESIDENTS

Non-resident dog owners who wish to take advantage of the dog park must register on the Gestipattes platform in order to obtain a medal at a cost of $ 30 valid for the current year.

LOST, FOUND, CAPTURED

Found a stray dog? If he wears a valid City medal, we invite you to visit the S.O.S. LOST PETS internet platform. Enter the medallion number (10 digits below the QR code) found on the back of the medal.

For this service to be functional, the owner only needs to activate the QR code on the S.O.S. LOST PETS internet platform. Thus, thanks to the QR code, it is possible to communicate with the owner directly. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If the dog does not have a tag, it will be sent to the Quebec SPA located at 1130 avenue Galilée in Quebec.

To pick it up, you must call 418 527-9104.

Please note that the City of Shannon does not offer any service for lost or found cats. In such a case we invite citizens to contact the SPA directly.
