The City of Shannon wishes to inform citizens that in accordance with Public Health directives, the session scheduled for Monday October 4, 2021 will be held in person. It will take place in front of the public at the Community Center located at 75, chemin de Gosford.
The City makes sure to put in place the prescribed health and distancing measures to protect the health and safety of all those present who must comply with them, including the wearing of a compulsory mask, except when seated.
Due to the limited spaces inside the Community Center and the fact that the sessions are broadcast afterwards, the City will require the COVID-19 vaccination passport, even if this is not formally prescribed.
In order to protect everyone’s health, remember that all municipal employees who work in municipal buildings must be fully vaccinated.
All citizens who wish to be heard in the context of a request for a minor exemption, conditional use or any other advisory aspect (already announced by public notice) will be admitted to the room as a priority.
A limited number of seats will be available to the public and the reception will be on a “first come, first served” basis. People attending the Council meeting must state their identity and provide a telephone number when they arrive at the Community Center. Citizens who are refused access to the room will nevertheless be able to consult the proceedings, which will be posted on the City’s website in the days following the meeting.
