The chief administrator’s office is the connection between the city council and the municipal administration; it provides the council and the mayor with the information required for the smooth functioning of the city. It ensures the implementation of measures and activities voted by the city council in compliance with the law.

The chief administrative officer is responsible for the administration and management of the city. As such, he plans, organizes, manages and monitors city activities. To that end, he makes appropriate recommendations to the city council and the mayor.
