The spring conditions of the last few days have forced us to close the winter facilities for the season, including the Sports Chalet, the skating rink and the slide starting today, March 8, 2023.
Many outdoor enthusiasts took advantage of our facilities during the winter.
The City wishes to thank the skating rink team as well as the Public Works Department for the maintenance of the surfaces, thus allowing citizens and visitors to practice their favorite sports activities.
Cross-country ski trails will continue to be marked out as long as the weather allows for safe snow conditions.
We understand that you want to take advantage of the beautiful days ahead and that it might be tempting to access our facilities despite their closure. User safety is the City’s priority and damaged and impassable surfaces could cause accidents and injuries. We thank you for your understanding.
