QUEBEC NATIONAL DAY

The national holiday will be celebrated in style this year with free and festive activities that will take place at Shannon’s Municipal Park at 73, Gosford Road.

 

2 p.m. OUTDOOR ZUMBA

4 p.m. FOAM PARTY to the sound of hits from the 80s

5 p.m. EDUCAZOO

6:30 p.m. COUNTRY DANCE

8 p.m. SHOW – FANCY BARBARE

Also on site: “Cream and Confetti” mobile dairy bar ($), hot-dog dinner served by Shannon firefighters ($), bar service ($)

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions 

Will the event take place in the event of rain?

Yes, the event will take place and will not be postponed. Note that individual umbrellas are accepted, but parasols and golf umbrellas are prohibited.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, the event may be canceled by public security. Refer to this webpage or our Facebook page.

 

Is parking free?

As it is a municipal activity, parking at the Community Center will be free for everyone during the event.

Regular parking rates for the Parc Canin will apply.

 

Are dogs allowed on site?

Dogs are not allowed on the site.

 

Can we bring a lunch?

Lunches brought in a soft cooler or a bag as well as plastic containers are accepted. However, glass containers and cooking appliances are prohibited, for safety reasons. Bags will be checked.

 

Can we bring alcoholic beverages?

It is forbidden to enter alcohol on the site. Bar service ($) will be offered.
