    • The City wishes to inform residents that a new branch collection procedure will be implemented starting this summer to improve the process and increase efficiency.

    From now on, branch collections will be carried out twice a year, at the same time as the RRGMRP’s bulky item collections.

    • Monday, June 2 and Thursday, September 4, 2025

    * Please note that for the Kilkenny area, collections will take place:

    • Monday, July 14 and Monday, September 29, 2025

    Tree branches must be tied and cut to a length of approximately four feet.

    Drop-off Point

    A drop-off point will be added to the two scheduled collection days for Shannon residents who wish to dispose of their branches on June 7 and 8, 2025, at 77 Chemin de Gosford.

    Ste-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier Ecocentre

    Remember that Shannon residents can drop off their tree branches free of charge at the Ste-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier Ecocentre at any time (during opening hours).
