The City of Shannon celebrated its volunteers on April 22nd during a recognition event and it was a success!
More than seventy (70) people gathered at the Community Center. Warmly welcomed by elected officials and employees of the Recreation Department, participants were able to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and a few bites in good company and have their portrait taken at the photobooth. In addition, ten (10) prizes were awarded, to the delight of the winners.
The City of Shannon would like to emphasize the importance and involvement of all the volunteers who have contributed to the success and maintenance of the various organizations and events in our city. To all of you, a big thank you!
