Do you have a green thumb? Would you like to grow your own vegetable patch or garden, but don’t have the space? Would you like to share your passion for gardening with other enthusiasts?
A few plots are still available at the Community Garden, located near the Shannon Community Center at 75, chemin de Gosford. The allocation of vacant spaces will be made by drawing lots from among the registrations received in order to promote access for all.
On the site you will have access to a shed, a watering system, a trash can and a compost bin.
Access to the site is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.
Users must bring their seedlings and seeds which are not provided.

The terms and conditions for entering the draw are as follows: between May 1 and May 12, 2023, indicate your interest by email with your name, mailing address and telephone number at loisirs@shannon.ca or by calling (418) 844 -3778 extension 230.
The draw will take place on May 15, 2023. If a place is assigned to you, the Recreation Department will send you the form to complete to finalize your registration. Only one gardening island will be allocated per address.
