INTRODUCTION TO HERBALISM

Just in time for the beautiful summer season, Shannon Municipal Library invites you to attend the free conference “Plant Medicine” to learn more about local plants, their properties, their common uses and the best way to integrate them into the garden. This conference will be presented in French.

Euréka Simard, herbalist, will share her knowledge and experience on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at the Community Center located at 75, chemin de Gosford.

Seats are limited! Register with Library staff at (418) 844-3778 ext. 1.

In 2015, Ms. Simard designed the “Between Heaven and Earth” Garden, a public space of medicinal, edible and utilitarian plants in St-Magloire. She has been practicing and teaching herbalism, this precious traditional knowledge, in Quebec for over 25 years.

The conference is offered free of charge to Library subscribers.

You are not a member? Come and meet us at the Library at 40 rue Saint-Patrick and we will be happy to help you with your registration.
