| For the 2024-2025 season, the City of Shannon will absorb 80% of the surcharges incurred for access to facilities surrounding the practice of ice sports, all disciplines combined.
As part of an intermunicipal agreement between the City of Quebec, the Recreation Department (PSP) of the Valcartier military base and the City of Shannon, the rate is set at $895, in addition to the regular registration fees. During the year 2025, an invoice representing 20% ($179) of this amount will be sent by the City of Shannon to the citizens concerned (non-military population) once the registration lists have been confirmed and validated. |

Several citizens and children’s organizations (hockey, scouts/guides, etc.) can enjoy the many facilities, including an indoor and outdoor pool, an arena, a gym, squash and badminton courts, cardiovascular equipment and more.
