Le Service des travaux publics souhaite informer les citoyens qu’il poursuit le nettoyage annuel du réservoir d’eau potable de la Ville jusqu’au vendredi 21 mai en soirée.
Afin de faciliter les travaux, la Ville demande aux citoyens de limiter leur consommation d’eau potable pour les besoins essentiels uniquement.
Durant cette opération, il se peut que l’eau présente une odeur de chlore plus prononcée qu’à l’habitude pendant un jour ou deux. Cela n’affecte en rien la qualité de l’eau qui demeure potable à la consommation.
Rappelons que la Ville de Shannon respecte les normes les plus strictes en ce qui a trait à la qualité de l’eau.

TO ALL RESIDENTS OF SHANNON SERVED BY THE AQUEDUC NETWORK
The Public Works Department wishes to inform citizens that it is continuing the annual cleaning of the City’s drinking water tank until Friday evening, May 21.
In order to facilitate the work, the City asks citizens to limit their consumption of drinking water for essential needs only.
During this operation, the water may have a more pronounced chlorine odor than usual for a day or two. This in no way affects the quality of the water, which remains drinkable for consumption.
Remember that the City of Shannon respects the strictest water quality standards.
