Le Conseil local du patrimoine (CLP) de Shannon est heureux d’annoncer qu’il aura bientôt son propre espace sur le site internet de la Ville afin de présenter ses projets et événements.
Soulignant le 200e anniversaire de l’arrivée de nos ancêtres irlandais à Shannon, nous invitons les citoyens à se rendre dès le début du mois de mars sur l’onglet du Conseil local du patrimoine afin de consulter le premier chapitre historique qui traite du début de l’histoire de notre Ville.
Nous tenons à remercier nos dévoués membres bénévoles du Conseil local du patrimoine de Shannon qui ont travaillé sur ce sujet au cours des dernières années. De nouveaux chapitres sur notre histoire seront publiés périodiquement tout au long de l’année.
Chaque publication sera annoncée via l’infolettre, sur «Voilà» et sur la page Facebook de la Ville, alors soyez à l’affût de ces communications, car elles promettent une lecture qui s’annonce captivante !
DISCOVER THE HISTORY OF SHANNON – Local Heritage Council of Shannon
The Local Heritage Council of Shannon is happy to announce that it will soon have its own space on the City’s web site in order to showcase its projects and events.
Highlighting the 200th anniversary of the arrival of our Irish ancestors to Shannon, we invite citizens to consult on the begining of March the Local Heritage Council of Shannon tab to discover the first chapter that deals with the very beginnings of our city’s history.
We would like to thank our every-dedicated volunteer members of Shannon’s Local Heritage Council who have been working on this over the past few years. They will be continuing with additional chapters on our history that will be published periodically throughout the year.
Each publication will be announced via the City’s newsletter and Facebook page, as well as on the “Voilà”platform, so be on the lookout for these announcements, as they herald a rather captivating read.
