Le retour des chaudes journées d’été concorde avec l’arrosage manuel, automatique ou mécanique des pelouses et autres végétaux, le lavage des véhicules, le remplissage des piscines ainsi que toute autre utilisation extérieure de l’eau potable provenant de l’aqueduc municipal.
La Ville souhaite sensibiliser les citoyens au gaspillage et à l’utilisation excessive de l’eau potable provenant de l’aqueduc municipal. L’eau est une ressource précieuse. Une utilisation excessive réduit les niveaux d’eau des réserves municipales.
Nous vous invitons à consulter, le Règlement numéro 685-22 sur l’utilisation de l’eau potable ainsi que le Règlement harmonisé sur la sécurité publique et la protection des personnes et des propriétés (RHSPPPP) numéro 684-22 avant d’entreprendre des travaux d’ensemencement, de tourbage, de remplissage de piscine et même pour l’arrosage manuel, automatique ou mécanique.

Awareness of the use of drinking water
The return of hot summer days is consistent with the manual, automatic or mechanical watering of lawns and other plants, the washing of vehicles, the filling of swimming pools as well as any other outdoor use of drinking water from the municipal aqueduct.
The City wishes to make citizens aware of the waste and excessive use of drinking water from the municipal aqueduct. Water is a precious resource. Excessive use reduces water levels in municipal reserves.
We invite you to consult the Regulation number 685-22 on the use of drinking water as well as the harmonized Regulation on public safety and the protection of persons and property (RHSPPPP) number 684-22 before undertaking any seeding, peat, pool filling and even manual, automatic or mechanical watering.
