À la suite des chaudes journées des derniers jours, la Ville souhaite de nouveau sensibiliser les citoyens au gaspillage et à l’utilisation excessive de l’eau potable provenant de l’aqueduc municipal notamment pour l’arrosage manuel, automatique ou mécanique des pelouses et autres végétaux, le lavage des véhicules, le remplissage des piscines ainsi que toute autre utilisation extérieure de l’eau potable provenant de l’aqueduc municipal.
L’eau est une ressource précieuse. Une utilisation excessive réduit les niveaux d’eau des réserves municipales. Nous vous invitons à consulter, le Règlement numéro 583-17 sur l’eau potable ainsi que le Règlement harmonisé sur la sécurité publique et la protection des personnes et des propriétés (RHSPPPP) numéro 669-21 avant d’entreprendre des travaux d’ensemencement, de tourbage, de remplissage de piscine et même pour l’arrosage manuel, automatique ou mécanique.

Awareness of the use of drinking water
Following the warm past few days, the City wishes to make citizens aware of the waste and excessive use of drinking water from the municipal aqueduct, in particular for manual, automatic or mechanical watering of lawns and other plants, washing vehicles, filling swimming pools and any other outdoor use of drinking water from the municipal aqueduct.
Water is a precious resource. Excessive use reduces water levels in municipal reserves. We invite you to consult By-law number 583-17 on drinking water as well as the Harmonized By-law on public safety and the protection of people and property (RHSPPPP) number 669-21 before undertaking seeding work, peat, swimming pool filling and even for manual, automatic or mechanical watering.
