En lien avec la récente publication concernant l’attribution des îlots de jardinage pour la saison 2023 qui se fera uniquement par tirage au sort, la Ville souhaite préciser que les personnes qui avaient un îlot de jardinage en 2022 pourront le conserver, s’ils le souhaitent, et que dans ce cas, leur emplacement ne sera pas attribué lors du tirage.
Rappelons que pour les autres personnes intéressées à acquérir un îlot de jardinage pour la saison 2023 il est possible de s’inscrire pour le tirage, entre le 19 et le 30 septembre 2022, en envoyant un courriel comprenant votre nom, adresse postale et numéro de téléphone à loisirs@shannon.ca.
Les îlots seront assignés dès le 3 octobre 2022 pour ceux et celles qui souhaiteraient semer certains bulbes cet automne, en prévision de l’été prochain. Un seul îlot de jardinage sera attribué par adresse. S’il reste des îlots disponibles, une seconde ronde d’inscriptions et d’assignation par tirage au sort sera effectuée au printemps 2023.

PRECISION – REGISTRATION FOR COMMUNITY GARDENS 2023
Regarding the recent publication concerning the allocation of gardening islands for the 2023 season, which will only be done by drawing lots, the City wishes to specify that people who had a gardening island in 2022 will be able to keep it, if they wish, and that in this case, their location will not be allocated during the draw.
For the other people who wish to acquire a lot it is possible to register for the draw between September 19 and 30, 2022, by sending an email including your name, postal address and telephone number to loisirs@shannon.ca.
The lots will be assigned as of the 3rd of October, 2022, allowing those who so wish the possibility of sowing bulbs this fall in anticipation of next summer. Only one gardening lot will be allocated per address. If there are still spaces available, a second round of registration and assignment by random draw will take place in the spring of 2023.
