À la suite des tragiques évènements survenus à Baie-Saint-Paul, la Ville de Shannon annonce la mise en berne des drapeaux flottant aux mâts de l’Hôtel de Ville afin de rendre hommage aux pompiers Christopher Lavoie et Régis Lavoie, décédés accidentellement dans l’exercice de leurs fonctions.
« Au nom de la Ville et du Service de la sécurité publique, nous souhaitons leur rendre hommage et transmettre nos plus sincères condoléances aux familles, aux proches et aux citoyens de la municipalité de Saint-Urbain », mentionne la mairesse Sarah Perreault.
DEATH OF FIREFIGHTERS: FLAGS LOWERED AT CITY HALL
Following the tragic events that occurred in Baie-Saint-Paul, the City of Shannon announces the lowering of the flags flying from the masts of the City Hall to pay tribute to firefighters Christopher Lavoie and Régis Lavoie, who died accidentally in the exercise of their functions.
“On behalf of the City and the Public Safety Department, we would like to pay tribute to them and convey our most sincere condolences to the families, loved ones and citizens of the municipality of Saint-Urbain,” said Mayoress Sarah Perreault.
