Le Service de la sécurité publique de la Ville de Shannon souhaite informer les citoyens que de nouveaux panneaux de signalisation ont été installés dans trois secteurs de la Ville.
Coin Rochon et Ladas
Afin d’assurer la sécurité des écoliers et des piétons qui circulent dans ce secteur aux abords de l’école Alexander-Wolff, trois nouveaux panneaux d’arrêt ont été installés.
Coin Bieler et Canon
Soucieux de permettre aux piétons du quartier militaire et aux écoliers de l’école Dollard-des-Ormeaux de traverser la rue de façon plus sécuritaire à cette intersection, deux nouveaux panneaux d’arrêt ont été installés.
Coin Chapman et Ladas
Afin de permettre aux automobilistes une meilleure visibilité des piétons et des écoliers qui circulent sur la rue Chapman, quatre nouvelles affiches Interdiction de s’immobiliser ont été installées du côté gauche de la rue. Il est par contre permis d’immobiliser son véhicule du côté droit de la rue.

NEW ROAD SIGNS: SHANNON’S STREETS SAFER
The Public Safety Department of the City of Shannon wishes to inform citizens that new road signs have been installed in three areas of the City.
Corner Rochon and Ladas
To ensure the safety of schoolchildren and pedestrians travelling in this area near the Alexander-Wolff School, three new stop signs have been installed.
Bieler and Canon Corner
In an effort to allow pedestrians in the military district and schoolchildren from Dollard-des-Ormeaux School to cross the street more safely at this intersection, two new stop signs have been installed.
Chapman and Ladas Corner
To give motorists better visibility of pedestrians and schoolchildren that circulate on Chapman Street, four new prohibition of stopping signs have been installed on the left side of the street. On the other hand, motorists are allowed to immobilize their vehicle on the right side of the street.
