You also have the option of paying your tax bills and welcome tax through your financial institution, by automatic teller or by Internet for the following institutions:

Your dossier number is shown on the payment coupon(s) at the bottom of your bill.  Please do not use the S.I.P.C. number.

If you are paying any other bills (welcome tax, aqueduct, etc.), your dossier number that is located on the upper right hand corner, is extremely important.  It is impossible for us to apply your payment to your account if you are not using the right dossier number.  If you are not sure what your dossier number is, please do not hesitate to call us and we will confirm this number with you.  Your dossier number never changes whether you are paying taxes or any other bill.

You may also pay all bills by debit card, cheque or cash at our municipal office.

This year your tax bill is payable Tuesday, April 6^th if your bill is under 300.$.  If your bill is over 300.$, you have the privilege of making three payments:

• the first payment on Tuesday, April 6^th
• the second payment on Friday, June 4^th and
• the third payment on Monday, August 2^nd, 2010

It is the responsibility of each proprietor to ensure that his or her payment is received at the municipal office before the deadline.  Please take into consideration that if you are paying your tax bill at a bank, you should allow 10 days for it to reach our office.  If you are paying your bill by Internet, it takes 2 days for us to receive your payment from your bank.  If you mail your payment, please remember that it will take 4 to 5 days to reach us!

If your first payment is late, even by a day or two, you will automatically lose your privilege of making second and third payments and your total bill will be due immediately with interest.

Therefore, we strongly recommend you send post dated cheques with the detachable coupon(s) from the bottom of your tax bill in order to avoid losing this privilege as well as the 12% annual interest charges payable on all late payments.

Please note that a dog registration form will be included in your tax bill envelope.  This form should be returned with your first payment or you may come in anytime to the municipal office during regular opening hours if you prefer.
